A young goat was walking across a field.

一只年轻的山羊走过田地

Suddenly, a hungry wolf jumped out of the bushes.

The goat ran for his life, but the wolf soon caught him.

The hungry wolf licked his lips.

“Do me one favor before you eat me!”

he begged.

“What favor is that?”

asked the wolf.

问狼.

“It’s a small thing, really,” said the goat.

山羊说,

“I want to hear music once more in my life,” said the goat.

山羊说:“我想在我的生活中再次听到音乐。”

“Would you please sing me a song before you eat me?”

“请你在吃我之前给我唱一首歌好吗? “

he asked.

他问。

The wolf thought for a moment.

狼想了一会儿。

“Why not?”

“为什么不呢? “

he laughed.

他笑了起来。

“I can still eat you when I am done singing,” the wolf growled.

“当我唱完歌后,我还能吃你。”

So the wolf began to howl out a song for the goat.

于是狼开始为山羊高呼一首歌.

His mighty voice was loud and strong.

他的强大声音响亮而有力.

A pack of dogs lived nearby on a farm.

附近有一群狗住在农场里

The wolf’s howls soon brought the farmer’s dogs running.

狼的叫声让农民的狗奔跑起来。

The pack of dogs quickly chased off the wolf.

The young goat laughed when he saw the wolf run away.

小山羊看见狼出走就笑了.

“That was the best song I ever heard!”

he chuckled.
